How this game estimates things

These are illustrative game values, not health predictions. Water outages use 3 L per person per day plus 0.5 L per pet, then up to 2 L per person for basic washing. Actual needs vary. Pet size, medical needs, fuel duration, fridge safety and building insulation are not modelled. Water is also lost from day 3 in Storm dominoes and from day 2 in Heat + water outage. Hot conditions use a game allowance of 4 L per person; this is not a personalised health target. Cyber scenarios do not switch off electricity or water. Payment access is an illustrative meter; cash is only useful where shops can accept it. Food means ready-to-eat household supplies. Backup power assumes 80% usable energy and 20 Wh per day for small devices; it does not run a fridge or room heater. No resupply is assumed.
